At least you just got snow. Down in Bloomington, we got snow, then ice, then snow, then ice, then snow... all day. I can't even get my car onto the street without skidding out of control.

Where I come from there is no snow, no ice, no water my car dried up and died .

We got some nice snow here, unfortunately followed by sleet - but it did give us yesterday off work so no complaints here even if I did have to shovel!
I like snow. I'm from Buffalo.

It was a little chilly here with frost on the ground about a week and some ago. Now it's nice crisp air with a gentle but strong wind off the Mediterranean. We can see the Pyrénées today which is always nice. I can send you one of my shovels C.o.D..

But no matter how nice the weather gets, the transatlantic postal service bites.
