More than 4 because 69 is more than four and I think people should just tell 69 jokes in this thread because who cares it's the fight master's choice.

I like 1, shut up multicore.
Albatross, you're causing persistent deep concern or anxiety.

Diggin' on one, so there's no fights with 3 entries and 1 review.

I voted for 1, because that way I only miss 52 fights a year, as opposed to 104 or 156. Shut up, Puce.

Q. WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD?
A. BECAUSE THERE WERE 69 JOKES ON THE OTHER SIDE.
I VOTED LIKE FODROY.

THERE SHOULD BE A KNOCK KNOCK JOKE WHERE YOU SAY KNOCK 69 TIMES. THEN THE OTHER PERSON IS LIKE WHO'S THERE AND THEN YOU'RE LIKE OH NOTHING I WAS JUST KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR 69 TIMES. THEN THE OTHER PERSON IS LIKE OH OK, WELL COULD YOU PLEASE STOP BECAUSE MY BABY IS SLEEPING AND IF SHE WAKES UP THEN I'LL JUST HAVE TO LISTEN TO HER CRY AND THEN FEED HER AND JESUS GOD I'M NOT IN THE MOOD FOR THAT. AND THEN YOU'RE LIKE OH SORRY, I'M DONE. GOOD BYE.

I DISAGREE WITH EVERYONE FOREVER.
Actually i detest the idea of one fight, which is the sole reason i stopped fighting when it went to one. I have stated elsewhere I won't fight again until it goes back to multiple fights.
Which is reason enough to stick to one, eh?

ps this never happened. i actually did a little research when this argument came up one time back when there were three titles and there was no definite correlation between the number of titles, the number of songs entered, and the number of reviews.
One thing I did notice - the reviews of the smaller fights tended to be longer on average (by which I mean number of lines per review - unsurprisingly I guess) and also, maybe as a result, less passionate (in terms of 'I love it' or 'I hate it')
it's all moot anyway, cos "THERE SHOULD BE AS MANY AS THE FIGHTMASTER FEELS IS APPROPRIATE"

Ya, my cursory look at the spread of reviews, volume of reviews and quantity of reviews over the weeks with varying number of fights yielded similarly inconclusive results. If there was ever a trend that stuck out to me it was that:
In the weeks with three fights where one fight is HUGE and another is TINY, the HUGE fight saw a much smaller yields than the TINY fight. But that's not in stone eihter.
I had never considered measuring the amount of fights and tracking a correlation between "passionate" reviews and number of titles. That's interesting. I also wonder what number of fights is more likely to make Reggie Dallas come back.
Also, I told that knock knock joke to somebody today and he hurt me. Thanks a lot, Dan. My vote is changed to about 34 knock knocks per week because then I won't get punched.

Well, that's just stupid. I thought you were a man of reason! I detest the idea of multiple fights, but it doesn't mean I won't write a song once in a while. Sheesh. Er, I mean...SHEESH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is this reason of which you speak?
I spent so long bigging up the multiple fights and defending them against people like yourself who preferred the single-fight format, i felt it would be hypocritical of me to then carry on regardless into the new fight format.
My attitude is: just because my principles are skewed doesn't mean I shouldn't stand by them. It's not like a few less or more j$ songs make such a huge difference in the grand scheme of things...

Got to admit - that is true.
Hey! Maybe you are a "man of reason" after all!

Maybe there could be special events or holidays where there are several titles to choose from. One per quarter or something or the annual Groundhog Day 3 title celebration, Canadian New Year Dual Citizenship Showdown. Did someone once talk about fights for different skill levels, like level 1 was "must be able to make a vocal utterance" up to level 3 was "must make Mozart burst from the grave in jealousy"? Not saying I like that idea, but a little bell is ringing behing the usual one in my ear.

I wasn't so much concerned with actual #'s as I was with my disappointment at the lower review counts for the lower-entried fights I have participated in. It seemed to me that those low-count fights generally had a poor spill-over of reviews from other fights, I'm guessing 'cuz people only review the fight they are in. So if you whipped up something genius that week, but only a few people are in your fight....not many might be listening, and even fewer might be reviewing. That's real life experience talking, not selective data mining.

But all my life experience is about selective data mining :-[
