fuzzy logic

I was just talking about math and physics in a bar with a commercial fisherman from Alaska, and he asked me what fuzzy logic was. Instinctively, I said, "Fuzzy logic is a superset of conventional Boolean logic."

That is all.

I hope you continued the explanation with "that's been expanded to handle the concept of partial truth", and concluded with beatboxing, a spoken word monologue, and terrifying banshee-wailing.

At least that's how I would have answered the question.

Yes. See this is why I want to go to college in Seattle ;) Also, my gosh, Fuzzy Logic is such an easy song to get stuck in your head.

Well then I gave an actual explanation (of both Boolean and fuzzy logic). And I used the hotness/coldness of the room as an example instead of the short and tall thing.
