I am so f'n tired!!! In bed at around 11:30 when all was said and done, then up at 4:45.
I'm taking the bus again today so Phil can take Spencer to get his hair cut. This boy (he's 4 1/2) has not had a hair cut in way over a year. Every time we bring it up he gets really upset and says he wants to keep his "Rock and Roll" hair. I made an appointment for him at the place I get my hair done (hip, young, modern, etc) and he's finally coming around to the idea...but, he's got a few stipulations:
1) Nichol (my hairdresser) has to play the Ramones while cutting his hair
2) He is getting ice cream directly after
3) Phil has to take him to K Mart to get a big toy car that they saw there the other day
I think we are willing to meet his demands.
Big company meeting at work today, have to dress up. Yuck! I'm pulling a Johnny Cash today, black down to my underwear!
How many hours do you sleep on average per night?
I average about 5 hours of sleep per night, sometimes less, but rarely more.

Mornin', sunshine!
The kids aren't up yet. They will be in a minute or so. I got up around 5, as usual. There's a good hour and a half of open time in the morning. I can't do loud recording, but I can indulge most other projects/diversions. World of Warcraft is a common one.
I guess I sleep about six hours a night, usually. Last night I forced myself to bed early, because I'm at The Lucky Dog tonight, and that's always a late night.
Okay, I hear the kids stamping down the stairs. Ciao!

I get about 5-6 hours of sleep a night.
Today has been pleasant so far. A simple morning where I didn't burn the toasting bread. I've got 100 new songs on my mp3 player. I talked to that odd new girl at my bus stop again. I wrote a few more pages of Septemberian (Origin stories are difficult to present sometimes). Now, I'm at work and trying to stay calm in the face of an upcoming team meeting. I will do so by listening to Nur Ein songs and putting some more thought into where I'm going to go musically while KBS is on the shelf.

2-6 hours on average, depending on how late in the morning the eyes shut. But I've been living on my nerves at work lately, so it's been closer to 6.
Can't wait to do the final mixing of Sister Cocaine tonight. The trusted critical ears who've heard it are being uncharacteristically enthusiastic about the song. Which means (in their ears) it's either really good, or really really fucking bad. Heh.
Just have to get through another hell day at work first.

Hello peoples
Sister Cocaine is about done
Final mix tonight
Rocks, but different for me
Hope I added enough alliteration
Removed some because of gayness
My sweetie poop is making me a big breakfast as we speak
The smell of bacon makes me happy
Lots of stops today
Must fight the urge to pick up my guitar until I get home
Can never just play for a minute
No self control
Want horns in my song all of a sudden, but no time
todays optional challenge:
Sleep - 3 to 6 hours
Live, Love, Rock
Chris

In theory, I head for bed about nine, and the dogs start coming around at four wanting their walk, so... there is potential for seven hours, but most of the time I'd settle for six. I've always been an early riser, and there are days when I'm lying there awake making myself stay in bed 'til four... but I make up for that by falling asleep during the 8 o'clock TV shows (we get our TV an hour early here; fer instance, I'm told that Letterman comes on at 10:35 pm). So I proably average about six, and it's really not enough, but going to bed at 7 pm is just so... antisocial.
Still struggling with menu planning and grocery shopping... surely there is a way to computerize all this stuff so that you don't have to actually keep it in your head from week to week... I'm about to head off on the first of my grocery store outings for the day - Albertson's has a lot of canned stuff on sale to buy to donate to the food bank, and then Fry's has a lot of frozen and fresh stuff that we use at our house on sale...
Tonight is the last night of my cooking class, and I've pretty well sworn off any more higher education for a while. The stuff I need most to learn in life is not covered in college.
Pulled out the lyric I wrote for "Grey Rainbow" and came up with some chords and have started recording that. The music doesn't quite match the mood of the lyric, so I may wind up just abandoning it, but I've already added it to my database as a "song I wrote," so I'm gonna try to finish it off here...

In our singing class today we got to choose songs for the senior medley next year, since there are only juniors in the class now that seniors are away on internship. We're currently leaning towards a Disney medley, which should be fun, if not corny. I also got really good reception on my current art pieces in Studio Art, so that's always nice. (Especially since it's figure drawing, which I've never formally done)
As for how much I sleep per night? Probably 1-4 hours, sometimes more, sometimes less. I usually nap for at least an hour in the afternoon as well. Definitely not enough.

I know well that phenomenon of Mountain Standard Time and 10:30 talk shows. Conan would always say about how it's one o'clock or past midnight and I'd think... no it isn't! But now I'm in a normal time zone in northern Idaho.
What is the focus of your cooking class? My cousin is going to culinary school at Penn State. I wish I could.

Normally in bed by 11:00pm
Up at 4:00am every morning except Sunday (lay in 'till 7:00am)
Just over a week ago I found a recording studio less than 500 yards from my house, hidden behind some Car Mechanic type places, so spent 4 hours this evening in there with my Son's band, excellent time, good laugh and they finally got something recorded, plus made a few decent contacts regarding regular local gigs, all for under £30 absolute bonus!!!

outside of knowing the color of somebody elses wife's panties all day, it's been a pretty un-eventful day. Band practice directly after work. I may try to mix down the 4th out of 6 new GTG songs tonight afterwards. ( I decided that I'm too tired to get out of bed the next morning no matter whether I go to bed at 10pm 12am or 2am so why not just stay up late) I'm not going to be able to get the album done before our next show (wait for it wait for it...shameless plug coming up...) which is coming up real fast... Friday night May 18th, 2007 to be exact. (Be there.)
It's cool that they have a toaster over here at work... I don't have to eat cold sandwiches for lunch. It adds a nice dynamic to my otherwise dull diet. ( my..my 'trying to look like a rock star' diet )
Peace out, see ya here tomorrow? Heather, Phil, thanks for caring. It's probably the only reason I even bother to post.

Glad yer posting Chris! I finally had a chance to log in and read reviews and the roll call... the two threads I visit every day now!
I just got home from a crazy day at work. I was in meetings for 5 out of the 9 hours I was there so I got little real work done and didn't get to talk to Phil like I usually do. I hate days when I can't talk to my man! I had a few minutes to eat a Lean Cuisine at around noon and now I'm starving! Must eat!
Phil and the kids aren't home from the big hair cut, ice cream, toy car extravaganza, but I did hear that Spencer got to listen to the Ramones while he got his cut, and that it is "very Kings of Leon" according to Phil! I'm excited to see it, maybe we'll post a picture.
It's nice to see that you guys get as little sleep as me!

Yeah, he's a pretty cool dude! Theyre home now and his hair is cute. Still longish, but out of his eyes. He's playing Mario Kart on Phil's DS right now and Allison is watching. Phil is taking a much deserved rest after a busy day, then he is off work tonight to work on and finish his Sister Cocaine song.

Man, I'm so glad I never played that game. I've heard many a report of its crack-like nature.

I just mentioned this to Heather, she totally didn't get it when she read your post! Bwa ha! She was all "Oh, is THAT what he was talking about? I was wondering "Where does he work?""
I don't sleep enough! Sometimes I work overnight and stay awake until whatever or whatever, and it's a mess.
Late getting the popcast up, and clearly you all know why. But yeah, busy night ahead, filled with the stuffs I love to do. Except for the rater pronounced leg pain.
I'm thinking I should go to the doctor.
Heather just brought me some naproxin and skelaxin! Look out world!

We had 'Boys Club' for lunch yesterday. That is everyone at works term for when Frank (a wog) cooks for myself and Smiles. He makes a big pot of pasta, and we go to town. Best free lunch ever.
Last night was a night of catching up on recorded TV shows. Watched Mythbusters (it is possible to fire your bullet down another persons gun) and a couple of episodes of South Park (Towlee gets high and writes a book, Ike has an affair with a teacher) plus, finally, a new episode of House. They fried a mans brain. Fun times.
I was informed this morning that we had no milk for cereal, and yet Legs can still have a coffee! I feel cheated, and currently, a bit hungry. Toast just doesn't cut it. I am tossing up trudging across the road to Hungry Jacks for a death-burger.
Trying to pull this fucking Forest & Timber News together this morning. I hate it, I hate it with a passion.

Today's song - <a href="

I probably get between 6 and 7 hours of sleep on weeknights, and I sleep in on the weekends.
Music for Captain S is keeping me very, very busy right now. I am going to try to go to sleep in a half hour or so, and that means I will have closer 6 hours tonight if I am lucky.
ROCK!
