I couldn’t figure out what was the big fuzz about them a couple of years back when Funeral came out… gotta say am hooked on Neon Bible.

I never heard of them until someone posted this same vid in another thread here. I think it was Luke if I'm not mistaken. Very cool non the less.

I've been playin neon bible a lot lately. Really good album. Just don't read the lyrics sheet, its hella depressing.
The music is oddly more hopeful, its just the lyrics alone are very dark. but like i said damned good band, damned good album cant wait to see em at ACL this year

Arcade Fire is pleasant enough for indie music. I remember liking Rebellion Lies and No Cars Go, can't remember anything else. The guy's voice is the deal-breaker for me, though: I just can't stand it. Yes, I realize that writing off the whole band just because I don't like one guy's voice is weak sauce.
That ripping magazine thing worked out pretty well for me on my Nur Ein Round Zero song.

I don't dig the Arcade Fire, but I dig Blogotheque's videos. I've been watching those since last summer. Check out the Andrew Bird videos.

I really like Funeral, Neon Bible took quite awhile to grow on me... I dig it mostly now tho...
