Because it's news. Thats why I care. I don't care that they finally got her to cry for the camera. I don't even care that she's in the back of the police car. I care because its news of a celebrity who got caught driving on a suspended license TWICE while on probation for pleading to a reduced charge of 'reckless driving' from a DUI. Which means she is FINALLY getting the justice you or I would have gotten if we had been caught doing the same thing. Therefore news.

I found it quite disturbing that a convicted criminal could be sent home from gaol, when there are still almost 400 men who have been held for over 5 years without charge or trial at Guantanamo Bay. It's a shame David Hicks didn't have Paris' legal team.

It's not that difficult to make an eight year old girl cry (one good way is to tell her that creepy old men like Rone will be hitting on her any day now) and it shouldn't make you feel good to see it happen.

On the bright side it is nice to see that laws occasionally do apply to rich folks.
