1. plug keyboard's midi out into audio interface
2. plug audio interface's usb out to computer
3. open garage band, etc.
4. use keyboard as midi controller for softsynths

is the above possible?

6. Grumble about the delay
7. Plug headphones into computer out jack
8. Sigh relief over lack of delay
