Damn I want one!!!

It seems to me that it is not really yet possible to on-line jam... and I'm no science guy, but would that be enough speed to allow two or more people to jam in real time online??? ....ohh.... that makes me giddy.

At that speed, I bet you could get those waves flying around pretty good. There has been some people experimenting with live jamming on the net. I know logic had some sort of thing going. But I think you are right. It never really seemed to be fast enough to accomodate the jam. Maybe with a T1 line it would be possible, but with news like this it won't be long now. I know Redcar would benefit from this greatly. Or not. :)

If it was in fact as you say, the "future", then I would have a flying car.

It's so NOT the future.

Online jamming is possible on a network. we did it at a lan party (dork) on ventrilo. I had the beat play through mine, and these two kids in seperate rooms rapped to it. It worked reasonably well. The biggest benefit, to me, of software like ventrilo is making collaborating move so much faster. Rather than playing PM-tag with links to sound files, you just talk to each other, and play stuff.

Whatever, though. I tried to turn people onto it before, and had no luck. So nyah.

You tried us before. Then I got it and I was the only one in the room you set up, so I got bored and left. Best plans of mice and men, eh?
