Red Skates, by 15-16 puzzle
When smashing up the fashion state
There are so many rules of late
That have to be unlearned
Like "no white after Labor Day"
It comes off as a bit passe
As far as I'm concerned
But some rules ain't made to be broken
And sometimes your mother knows best
And if you've been skating
You know who I'm hating
And how they're improperly dressed
I hate all those people who are in the red skates
What's the matter with all the folks in the red skates?
They're painfully stupid
And lacking in taste
And, yes I'd repeat this
If ever I saw one face-to-face, until then, well
I'd imagine they're quite easy to hustle
Ease up of the brains and you fire up the muscle
They don't seem to notice
When something goes wrong
You just misdirect them
And show them you're strong enough to make a scene that no one will forget
Long enough to beat the spread and cover all the bets
It's no joke that the people in the red skates all have been lied to
"One should dress for sucess"
And Lord knows that they tried to
But some fashion victim
Has led them astray
He told them the red skates
Were leading the way
They're too just-out-of-style to be thought of as retro
It's just tired and old, and they all need to let go
Pay some attention
To what lied ahead
And open their eyes up
And stop seeing red
Cuz that's not what we need to turn this all around
Make sure all those hatchets have been buried underground
Down with the red skates
When smashing up the fashion state
There are so many rules of late
That have to be unlearned
Like "no white after Labor Day"
