Did anybody get a chance to watch this show's premiere last night? A certain LA SongFight!-er worked on it, so I wanted to check it out, but I had band practice.

I've heard nothing about this prior to this thread, and I still have no idea what it is, so at this point, I don't have much interest in it.

So don't reply.

I didn't watch it, but that's 'cause I didn't know Chris was on it. Reviews are terrible though... hope it pans out.

Yeah, it's deliberately trashy, but I think the jury's still out of it's the kind of trash that reviewers hate but viewers love...

Anyway, for those who don't know, it's a new prime time show on the US network television station ABC, on Thursday nights are Grey's Anatomy. The two second pitch is that it's like a male version of "Desperate Housewives", only the four guys are all CEOs and they play golf or something. SongFight! legend prayformojo is an editor on the show.

Have you taken over for Erik? Or do you always give people hoo ha if they stick around for more than a month? I made a pretty simple implied request for more information. I respectfully decline your suggestion, and maintain my right to my curiosity.

Yeah, that looks like his IMDB page. For some reason I hadn't thought to look at that before. "Smith" was another high profile prime time network show he worked on, with big name celebs, but that didn't pan out.

Well, we don't ask for much, just take the thread title plus the first post and make a pretty simple inference that Lunkhead is talking about some kind of media of some sort, probably a TV show. Then put your cursor in the search box most likely in the upper-right corner of your browser window, and type "<a href="http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com/sear ... shots">Big Shots</a>".

I never cease to be amazed when someone's first reaction to encountering something they're not familiar with online, whether in a forum, email, or IM, is to go "huh? what's that?" rather than Just Fucking Googling It. On the Internet, nobody needs to know you've never heard of Goatse.cx.

I say this with love, unlike Erik, who is full of spite and hate.

Love? What's that?* Is this something I need a google to know about?

Well, I knew what Big Shots was, but not knowing what Goatse.cx was I figured I'd Google it so I didn't feel like I was on the outside looking in.
...If you'll excuse me, I need to go take a shower now.

Well, at least this thread was good for something. I don't have anything against you, Billy, I just haven't seen anyone goatse'd in, like, six years or so.

Yeah, I'm not real internety. Had he said meat spin though, I'd have known, lol. I've been tricked by meat spin, rick and roll, tub girl, scary face while looking for something small on the screen, and now goatse. But I do have to hand it to JB, he got me and I had a good laugh....but damn!
My problem is that I trust everyone here because I've been linked to so much good music and studio info that I just assumed.

You know what's a good band? Lemon Party. Go check them out, they're in the archives. If you like them, you should* google them.

Mojo is gonna love how a thread that began as a celebration of his work has devolved into a Goatse thread.
