Below is what I've got. I can e-mail a demo (my site is currently down) if anyone wants to do/hear it. It's got a hard rock/metalish feel.

Baby, Be Quiet
Due: Monday 10/15/07 9:59am pdt

VERSE 1
riff1
Oh, I have seen a lot of low tides
but now, you're drowning me in tomes of lies
G Em
and I am sick and I am gettin' weak
and I am wondering if I can take your speech

CHORUS
C D
cause I am seeing red, and I am telling you
Em C Am
baby, this is one thing you had better do
cause I am seeing red, and I am telling you
Em D Am
baby, be quiet.. no matter what you do

VERSE 2
riff1
have I made myself perfectly clear?
dammit, your ramblings did not stop here
I just can't leave it to you to stop
so I make a change with this prop

G-Em
cause I am bored with what you say
my ears they bleed, all fuckin' day

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Em
when this thing's all over.... I don't know
I feel so mistaken...about what I've said
I'm taking it all back...you know until
your words again begin to spill...

Riff1 (I think this is what I'm playing)
-----------------------------
-----------------------------
---------------------4-2p0--
-----3/6-6\2-----3/6--------
---2-----------2------------
-0-----------0--------------

Hey, you can send this to me, lordofoats@gmail.com if you don't have my contact, for whatever reason. I won't guarantee that I'll have time to work on this or will even want to, but I'm willing to consider it. If anything, it's probably the time issue that's killing it. But send it over, anyway.

Still looking for any ultra-quick help on this tune (drums or full/semi-full instrumentation). If I get no bites by tomorrow, then I'll do the best guy'n'guitar I can. :)

I've tried that. It sucks when I do it. I don't know why, but it probably has something to do with not knowing what I'm doing with my mixer and recording. :) It might also have something to do with my rhythmitis.

I suggest beating on the back of your guitar. String son your lap so they don't ring.

Did anyone else read that as "String son to your lap"?

Yeah, the first time. It was a little disturbing until I realized the s was attached to the wrong word. Jeez, Ross. I don't care what your wpm score is. It doesn't count if you make errors.

Sure it does, but the teacher <i>will</i> have to deduct 25 WPM for each error. ;)
