48 hours? That's a bit much. I think 4.8 hours would be more fun to watch, or better yet - 48 minutes!

Wow, cool show. I dig the song, too.

EDIT: I think it's funny that he tracks everything with his hat on underneath his headphones. It must be nice to have somebody else doing the engineering, too, along with having the studio stocked, setup, and ready to go.

I love that guitar tone. Yeah, nice to have an engineer hanging out. What if Oprah just gave all of us a full time engineer on one of her shows?

They had just built that studio when I was at NPR. Quite a nice room that can be reconfigured at will and accommodate a small orchestra. Not to mention 72 (I think) digital tracks, that nice wide screen display to critique the score (yeah, right!).

Overall, I'm disappointed with what he came up with. A bit too repetitive but what happens happens, as we all know, and he's honest about the loop based song being simple and ensuring he'd finish it in time.
