The trailers make this look really, potentially funny, what with Disney making fun of itself and all, and the clash between fantasy culture and NYC reality. But all the good scenes are in the trailer and the rest of the 104 minutes is padded with girly cute stuff. They couldn't even commission a waltz? (the big king's ball scene used a 6/8 that really feels in 4) That said, it was entertaining, and my 6 year old even applauded at the end.
We had tickets to "I'm Not There" right after (baby sitter snafu), but it was sold out and by the time we got there the place was packed and we bailed for a refund and sushi instead. Another night...
