Last night I went to a concert. Plaid headlined. It was pretty good.

qotd: Do you have tomorrow (Monday) off? (I do, because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

These days, I have no days off. Not weekends, not holidays, I can't even get sick. Sucks.

I have a couple stops tomorrow. I'm sure it will turn into a full day.

Yes, I am a teacher.

My wife and I are currently working with an architect for an addition to our home. I hope he's not taking tomorrow off, either. ;-)

Lazed around and watched football (the american kind) today.

qotd: I have no class, but I still have to work at the university library tomorrow night. The library is racist, apparently. :?

Bloody architects. They piss me off. I've spent over a year (and shitloads of money) getting renovations designed for a house I own in inner-city Brisbane - but we are still no nearer completion. (OK - it isn't actually the architects fault - but I do like to focus my anger at convenient targets). The real problem is Australia's (in particularly Queensland's) booming economy. There is so much work in this joint at the moment that it is easier to get an audience with the Pope than it is to get a builder to give you a quote for anything. I am very much looking forward to you Americans dragging the whole world into the pits of recession with your "sub-prime" shenenigans - then when the money dries up and all the builders are out of work they will be coming around on their knees begging for my work. Of course, I'll be unemployed then too and living on pot-noodles - but still, it's a nice thought...

Yep, I have the day off. I work for a university. No real plans today. I have work I should be doing, but I don't really want to. I also have a lot of laundry to do today. Fun.

DRC: I am having way too much fun with the cover art / make your own album thing over in sidefights... I've done seven or eight of them already today (but have resisted posting most of them).

Yeah, I'm off today... I guess I'm sort of officially retired, or at least given up on going back to work for a while...

It's awesome that everyone's so far behind on DRC that they're using yesterday's question about tomorrow to talk about today.
