I woke up today at 6:30. I actually had breakfast (some organic imitation Pop-Tarts). Now I'm at work and there's no coffee. This has everybody sad.

qotd: Favored method of caffeine delivery, and quantity thereof?

My big project is due today. It's done, but I'm sweeping over it over and over again to make sure I don't miss any typos or stupid stuff like that. At least it's all written. After the due date, there will probably be drinking.

QotD: Coke.

Coffee of the Gorilla kind. Or Illy when at the office. And generally more than I should drink.

QOTD: Coffee, usu. "Organic" French Roast. ±8 cups, by the measurement on the pot.

Addict, though I have taken a year off now & again to prove to myself that I can.

I'm with Rabid on the French Roast coffee. Freshly brewed and black, about five times a day. He must mean give or take 8 cups, Fluffy.

What Paco said. "give or take" was more work than "option + shift + =" to key in.

Of course now that's all moot, heh. Must be all the coffee. :lol:

Me too, 'cept I try not to go over two cups a day. (I usually end up drinking three though)

Folgers = My Budweiser coffee
Ethiopian = My Heineken

(I don't actually drink much Budweiser or Heineken but you get my point)

It was busy this morning, but its slowing down this afternoon, almost lunch time. I'm a wee bit hungover from the game yesterday but its not really all that bad.

Roll Call: Working, and then practicing with one of the bands. I am trying to stay in songwriting mode for FAWM/RPM. Anyone with good drinking stories, please send 'em along. :)

QotD: Coffee, usually one cup in the morning. Sometimes another one at work if I need it. Also: diet soda* and sugar free Red Bull.

*I have no brand allegiance.

I knew what you meant, but I was giving you a hard time. ±8 means exactly either -8 or 8. ~8 means around 8. I am, as always, a huge math nerd.

I actually don't drink a lot of coffee. Maybe 2-3 cups per week. I go through phases.

We bought our new house last Friday. Spent the weekend taking down wallpaper. Why anyone puts up wallpaper is beyond me. Way beyond me. I hate the stuff. It's hard to put up correctly, any flaw is glaringly obvious, when it gets a little old it looks pretty crummy, and it's a mountain of work to take down. I'm not even convinced it's less work than block printing or stenciling by hand.

I drink coffee, black no sugar, nearly constantly. The super-strong Peet's/Starbucks stuff is kind of fun for short sprints, but it gives the beverage a bad name. Home- or office-made is right for the marathon. French press is best, but drip is fine.

Yeah, I love the coffee from my French press, even if I only get half a cup at a time.

QOTD: Crack cocaine. I just love the smell of eggs and bacon in the morning, with the intoxicating smell of tweak wafting through the air. It brings back those wonderful memories of when I was a little boy, watching Saturday morning cartoon, while Mom and Dad were free basing at the kitchen table. Image

Kids, stay in school and don't do drugs.

No more than 2 cups of coffee in the morning. Any more than that and I get too productive.

And in the summer, ice coffee reigns supreme. Anyone do the cold-press method? Put grinds in a French press with cold water overnight (~8 hrs). Then just add ice and cream for heaven. Or icecream for that matter...
