How might I go about achieving this tone? If you're not familiar with it, here's a video from the album's single:

Sounds like a wet chorus setting, delay, if there's tremolo in there the level is pulled back so it isn't full on stuttery. Probably a Fender type amp, pre-amp down and master volume up. Experiment with your guitars volume and tone knobs as well, stereo effects. There's a phaser or flanger that comes in at the end, but it sounds like the main sound is sparkley chorus.

A bell is a cup? It says kidney bingo.
but anywho, Paco sounds like he hit it in the area I would try to achieve the sound. Definitely a single coil thing, or a single coil effect, stereo chorus, cascading tubes, delay. That should get you in the ballpark.

BLT: "Kidney Bingos" is a single from the album A Bell Is a Cup... Until It Is Struck.
Thanks for the tips, guys! I'm getting a pretty similar sound now.

Shows how much I know about bands out there.

That's a fantastic song, probably my favorite Wire album. Are you covering it, or were just trying to copy the sound?

i think it's an analog delay.
