Hola!
drc: Yesterday, I finally took the plunge and bought some real reference monitors (Samson Resolv 65a) They sound really good, and I'm happy wih my purchase. They are too big for the studio (ha!) I had set up in my bedroom, so I sub-divided my living room, and set everything up in there on an old table. It is much more comfortable and roomy, plus the acoustics are better. I spent most of yesterday doing my Radio Ready parts, and am now patiently waiting for a couple people to READ THEIR DAMNED PM and get back to me
qotd: If you could go back in time to any moment and relive it, which moment would it be? I don't mean go back and change shit, I mean experience something over again, exactly like it was.

qotd: Man, that's tough. As soon as I read the question, I assumed that I'd be allowed to change it, but I guess that's not the question. If it was, I'd have a lot to say. I guess if I could go back and experience something again, it'd be a couple years ago when all my friends were still in town, and we'd cruise around in my buddy's old decrepit firebird. Honestly, those were the most carefree and fun times of my life so far. Hopefully I have some more on the way.

drc: My fancypants apartment has no hot water right now. I really need to take a shower, too.
qotd: Back to when the fucking hot water worked.

[spud]Hot water is for pussies[/spud]
Try something new today. Break the monotony. Go put on your flower shower cap and take a cold shower. It's invigorating.

Well it's also a bit difficult to do laundry and dishes without hot water, and I'm behind on both of those.

From BLT's link wrote:At sea level water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit/100 degrees Celsius. It boils at lower temperatures at higher altitudes.
I got in the biggest argument with my mom over this once when I lived in Albuquerque. She told me it boiled at a lower temp out there and I was all "nope." And just why did I never excel at science?
QOTD - I might have a peek at the first time I went over my first girlfriends house. Nothing naughty, just when she came into the room and it was like she was walking all underwater slo-mo, my head swirling. What a wonderful overload of senses, emotions, and body chemicals flying all over the place. A simple act where time didn't exist for little while.

Yay, the hot water finally came back 15 minutes ago. I am clean again.

I would go back to a time when it rained, and the sun didn't strip the flesh from my bones in seconds.

QotD: I would relive today, so that I could choose to relive it over and over and never get older.

Umm, not to, uh, be serious or anything, but my wedding day was pretty fantastic. I think that's the one.

You're lucky I'm not standing next to you right now, or I would tickle you until you poop.
BLT: ...watch out, here comes the tickle monster.

I think I need to take a shower.

QotD: Man... so many. My wedding was pretty cool, but that's like a gimmie for a question like this.
There was the time I got to play on stage with my favorite band when they came through. I was on an emotional high for awhile after that.
Yeah I'm gonna go with that one.

This reminds me of a dream I had where The Cure were playing in my back yard and I got to play with them.
One of my old bosses got to play with Greg Allman at the restaurant / club we worked at.
QOTD: All these moments are very personal ones. There are a couple I would love to re-live but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable talking about them here. HOWEVER, I will leave you with this:
Was in Canada for a family reunion and my cousin and I decided to dash over to NYC on a train. Sometime that day we smoked a joint in Central Park. While I don't smoke pot anymore, that is one moment in my life that really stuck out for me. To have done what a lot of my music heroes from NYC had done before me.

Finally made it to New Orleans today. Allyson's about twelve hours behind me. Till she gets here, I'll just be playing on my computer and watching TV. Yeehaw.
QotD: I'm thinking probably the first day of college. That was a pretty carefree time.
