I've been missing out on songfight! possibilities! I've been playing a seven string for 5 or 6 years straight now... but I finally broke down and bought myself an SG this week for my birthday because I've always wanted one. I'll have to see if I can get some sabbath and whiskey early morning inspirato riffs on this one.... but unfortunately that's usually the reason why I never record anything. too drunk. too late.

I'm in, for the following reasons:

-I came up with a good idea pretty quickly
-This will be my 10th entry, so--it's like an anniversary for me.
-I know for a fact due to other engagements that I will be missing at least the next two (maybe three) entries.
-I like drinking

I've got an idea and a form for this one, but it might take a bit of practice to pull off. Hopefully this weekend will be good to me.

I can see this one producing some good titles, but I have no inspiration.

Conversely, I'm writing some great non-SF acoustic tunes lately.

I take back what I said. I've written some good stuff for it, but there's no way I'm entering two sappy piano songs in a row. Maybe if I lost the umlauts I could get away with it.

I have a pretty cool production idea for this song and it's coming along as planned thus far.

I've got something coming together for this title, too. Drums, guitars and vocals are done, so from here on it's just filling in the missing frequencies...

If I can get lyrics and vox done on Sunday, I'm in. It turned out way more Cure-ish than I intended, but I've been playing with some guitar synth, so I guess I didn't intend it to come out like I intended...
