Duane Jarvis Benefit

Just got back from a benefit concert thingy for him (he's got the big C, and no health insurance) in an intimate-ish venue, attended by mostly musicians up here in Portland. Frank Black headlined, or rather, was the closing act. Sat and drank outside (the no-smoking laws are hitting even here) with Deborah and her fiancee, talking about pets and the sights, heh, around Flagstaff, AZ. Don't camp at Owl Canyon. The emcee made fun of my hair, "that's a $50 haircut, surely you can spare something to throw in the kitty..."
I cut my own hair, and haven't even combed or brushed it in almost a year.
We talked afterwards, me and the emcee, while Mz. Conduct was reminiscing with Duane, and all's comfy-groovy-fine, not that y'all were even remotely invested, heh.
So... I can't find the fucking link for the "supporting of an artist in need", but it's out there somewhere. If you find it, click it and throw something his way.
EDIT:
Okay, so after that rambling fdrink post, I'm actually able to use a search engine. http://www.homeforduanejarvis.com/. He'll be playing a show down in Culver City next week, pimp pimp. June, 17 2008 at Cinema Bar, 3967 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, California 90230. He's the only person I've seen who plays a Gibson Hawk, and he wrings every last sound possible out of it. Damn!
