I've never successfully done back to back SongFights, so I doubt (just from tradition) that I'll submit, but I did think of some stuff this morning that could sound good. So we'll have to see.

No, first rule of song fight is: you do not talk about song fightto all of your non-song fighter friends to get them to friend-flood your song.

You ever have an idea you think is pretty good for the verse, and then you start working on a chorus that you think is okay but when you play it back it sounds like horrible, horrible cheese? Yeah, that's where I am with this one.

You know what's kind of fun? Have someone give you a chorus fitting to the title, but don't let them hear your verses. I did this with Paco on Morning on Bourbon, except on the bridge. Just post your "chorus only" clip in the collab room and see what people come up with. Then pick one, or have several. The way I see it, Cryptic Comment is one of those titles that can be described a thousand different ways but all mean the same thing.

I have awesome lyrics and a pretty good song concept, but I don't know if I can pull off recording it. I hope I can, because that will mean 3 in a row for me. I'm on a frikkin' roll, maybe!?

ok. i'm in for this one too. ever meet someone who couldn't stop quoting a specific tv show? well, now he has his own song. bonus points if you can cite the episode production codes for all the cryptic comments.

wow. you just made my day. i didn't think anyone remembered that one. i decided to write something so graphic to try to get over the internal censors i put on my own songwriting (and to be contrary to the sugary sweet title). thanks for the kind words.

Too much life stuff got in the way. s'a shame, too, this song would have been possibly the greatest song ever recorded. I might still do it anyway, when things have calmed down a bit.

I'm in, although not officially yet. I'm gonna send it just before I go to bed, cuz there's ALWAYS something I hear right after submitting that I wish I would've changed. Thanks for the vocal offer, Hoblit. I ended up just gettin busy on the lyrics a got er done.
