....
....
It's gonna be one of those days at work. I'm basically hanging in day-by-day until I get fired because of the retarded asswad that is my boss has the competency of a snail and yells at everything that isn't my fault. I have to bite my lip everyday not to punch him in his face.
...And... I just got another phone call from another person with another stupid problem (as I was typing that).
I need something that will make me smile or laugh or something--I'm gonna really need it.
QotD: Do you have anything that makes you smile or laugh on these really really rough days?

As much as I enjoy physical humor like that, I think it's a little... I guess superficial humor to really cure these scars. I'm gonna need something that just makes me want to throw my head back and laugh until I hurt.
But thank you very much, Jim, for actually seriously giving me something. Video Games are my wonderdrug at home, Rone... but I'm at work right now. And Hoblit, I'd love to, but we've already discussed this. And as it stands right now, I'm even FURTHER away from being able to come with all kinds of crap going on. Thanks anyways, though.
Keep the suggestions coming. I feel a tiny bit better as time goes on--but that's simply because I haven't seen my boss or heard any stupid complaints fro anyone in about an hour.
(EDIT: Sorry, I re-read my question at the top. I realized I didn't ask for suggestions... I just asked what makes you happy. Sorry for jumping there--I'm just.... well, hell, you can see for yourself reading the first post...)

Listening to co-workers scream after successfully getting an "evil" song stuck in their heads.
Conversely, I hate it when they get me with the same thing. Last one they got me with was the "Monchichi" commercial's jingle (a doll in the USA from the '80s). You'll forgive me if I don't quote it, heh.

Ha! That video is great! What a maroon. Whenever you need to flush a song out of your head, just use "Windy" by the Association. Works every time.
Embers - Just compare your situation to something worse, and put it in perspective. Like, "thank goodness I'm not that guy buried in a coal mine" or "I could be a leper begging for crumbs in India" or something. See? Not so bad after all, is it?

QotD: I look in the mirror... LMFAO! ... uhm...

Yes, i have great example of this at play.
Last year a co-worker and me, came up with an inside joke called “not as bad as Teddy”.
This was after I had purchase one of Teddy’s Thompson albums, cuss I like 1 or 2 songs on it. ( I had the blues)
I brought the MP3s to the office, and she was asking for new music so I shared the mp3’s with her, without listening to the album in its entirety.
After we both listen to the entire album, we came to the conclusion that it was the most sad and depressing shit ever, and that our problems
Were small compare to whatever the hell he was singing about.
He actually has an amazing voice, and the songwriting / musicianship is not that bad..

So yeah dude, “is not as bad as Teddy”

Update to all: Everyone's left me alone for the most part today. I've got a ton of work and keep reminding everyone of this fact. I'm feeling a bit better. Thanks to all who submitted things to help me smile.
(Replace whiskey with rum, erik, and you have a solid suggestion)

replace rum with scotch and you're on the right track...

No need for replacements. Just extend the list a couple spots.
This is where I'd place a good drunken emoticon. BLT, hook me up!

That sucks, Fluf. You're riding along enjoying your new set of wheels, and some prick wants to ruin it for you.
