It's birthday day in my neck of the woods. No, it's not mine. It's my dad's. It's also my friend Mike's and it's my boss'. And the immortal Hulk Hogan's birthday as well, brother. It also marks a month before my kids' birthday (2 kids, 1 day). Lots of planning for their b'day party must be done.

QotD: The crazy ass Songfight Literals thread has made me think more about photography and the things one can do with a wealth of photoshop skill. My question today is: Do you do any photography?

I do photography, but not a lot of photoshopping. Polaroids will always be my favourite though, even if they've gone extinct.

Yes, I love my digital SLR (Canon EOS 20D).
Didn't we have a thread about photos recently? Or something? I feel like I posted a link to one of the pics I took with it.
I have done some gimping, which is like photoshopping but cheaper. A couple of SF artworks, some album covers, etc.

I enjoy photochopping. I do it from time to time, but I like to have a reason. I think it stems from my love of slogan writing, sales promotion, etc creating. I'm like a 21st century Darrin Stevens, minus the hot witch. I honestly think that a career in that line of biz was meant for me, but I was redirected by the devil.
As far as photography, just point and click.

drc: Added more to my little test app, found/fixed some more bugs in the infrastructure stuff. Whee! Then I went out to dinner with a friend who is in town for a CCNA training course.

There is a picture of a leaning grave stone (I think I called it EPD) on that page. The top of that stone has since fallen. Thats from a historic graveyard in downtown Tampa.

Funny how photoshop has become the coca cola of the digital image editing application world. I call it photo chopping, like a chop shop for stolen cars.
