DRC: I'm in a hell of a mood today....so I need to turn it around. It's dance party day. I'm playing an incredibly large amount of electronica, hip-hop, techno and mash-up today. My office will sound like a club.
QotD: Any suggestions to add to my "dance party" playlist. (mp3 links if ya got 'em)

QOTD: Frankie goes to Hollywood and some New Order.
Man. I think someone hacked my songfight profile last night and posted a novel or something in the review thread.

We are on the same wavelength. Earlier today I played both of those groups.

drc: In my head I can't stop designing LifePing. Since we've been fixated on that issue a lot lately around here. I think I should be able to get something functional this weekend. The design is actually pretty simple. I think.

I promise you that if you play Jungle Love, all the white women in the office will be looking at you with bedroom eyes.
That shit is the mad notes. Written by God herself and handed down to the greatest band in the world, the motherf**king Time.

No Heuristics Inc. ?

Maybe try:
Subsonica - "Discolabirinto"
Energy 52 - "Cafe del Mar"
Blue Man Group - "I Feel Love"
Brad Sucks - "Making Me Nervous"
The Creeping Foam - "A Walk in the Park"
I had been thinking of putting together some sort of curated dance mix, but I haven't gotten around to that.

Coco, Psapp, Hot Bitch Arsenal, Ice Cube, Black Kids, The Go! Team, Gravy Train, Everything but the Girl, Emergency Pizza Party, M.I.A., Loo and Placido, N.E.R.D., 15 Years, Heuristics Inc, Ladytron.
And time. My work day is over. That was an odd experience.
New QotD: Is there a genre of music you'd like to try out making, but haven't?
Would you like to try and make a swing song? Maybe you would like to rap? Maybe you would wanna do some thrash?

I would love to pull of a tune where the vocals actually sounded ... right... that pop-almost nickelback but not sound.
Like Des. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to sound like Des vocally? If you saw the guy you'd wonder where the fuck that voice comes from. I think it's the beer, but I forgot his brand and thus I just won't sound like him.
but yeah, that would be nice, to have that rich, sweet sound. I'd like to do that!
But I'll settle for weird hard-rock metal tunes with quirky vocals. Sigh.

Try using a chorus effect? Or just double-track the vocals (it worked for Kurt Cobain).
