The Song Fight Bulletin Board

It's finally gotten to the point where I truly need a music space of my own in the house. Recording in my bedroom just doesn't work out anymore (too many risks of waking the kids; animals that run in wheels...). I have a basement with a ton of space. It may be cold and looks like it should be a set for Saw VI, but I think it's time to convert it into my music space. My biggest problem is that I have very li'l cash to put towards such an endeavour. Any advice on how to make a music space on the cheap?

Are you handy with wood and a saw? Maybe you can take some pictures of the basement from a few angles. Or, draw it out from a top view.

Well, first just clean the place out. Concrete is actually a pretty good surface for music. A little dark, but not bad. Start with an empty room and go from there.
