Welcome Back Roll Call 11-26-08
Hey Everybody-
I haven't been on the board in a while, but I was thinking maybe it'd be cool if I tried kickin' it again or someting.
So basically, I was wondering if you wanna give me a quick lowdown on where you're at? I guess i haven't really been around in maybe a year or.. more? But just, you know, who did a thing and who ate a what?
I'm working at a towing company mostly, and it is ok.
I am thinking I should be making more music, yeah?
The boyo is in K-guard, and he's digging it. His teach said he was one of the top readers, so that's cool. Allie-po kicks it casual with me in the day. She'll be starting pre-k next fall, bwoo hoo!
I am super dissatisfied with my current desk situation. It's a particle board hunk from wayback, I got it used like... jeez, ten years ago. My monitors are too high for where i sit, all the sound is up in the air over my head. So, i'm thinkin' on how i can build something that both looks good in the living room and suits a multitude of functions (recording, drawing, eating, & the rest.)
The Preparation P vsti is kind of fun, esp. in front of some fuzz. It's a free rompler of prepared piano sounds, and each note is individually tuneable, sort of. But yeah, that's my tip of the day.
Anyway, I hope you are all fresh!

Hey, good to hear from you! It'd be great to hear some SF entries from y'all*.
As for me, I got shit going down but I'll tell you about it later. First, thanksgiving. I do like the new title, so maybe there's a song in my future. I haven't fought in a long time.

I can drink red wine again, so that's a good thing, and counts for a "who ate a what?", right?

What's new? Multiple choice voting, for one. Also, a 10-day schedule. Some code changes. Damn that reminds me, I forgot to write new code to put the last week's fight in the archive. Welcome back. Gotta go fix that.

Hey Phil -
Doin' Good. My wife and I added on to our house this summer, which was really stressful but also satisfying now that it's over.
Musically I'm alright - talking to my acoustic guitar a lot. I did February album writing month and made what I think is a good record about the history of baseball. Nur Ein also went well, I got all the way into the controversial finals.
Nice to see you back - try not to kick our ass too much!

Re: Welcome Back Roll Call 11-26-08
Wow. We now have EVEN MORE degu babies.
Remember when I adopted two, and the guy didn't tell us that one was pregnant? Well, they were BOTH pregnant. The younger just gave birth this morning. The babies are inbred and premature. There's at least two, probably more. I hope they make it.
Hi, Phil. Welcome back. You and I are in more or less the same boat. The only difference, of course, being that your boat rocks, and mine tends to s(t)ink.
Since you last hung around, my fiancee and I adopted some pets (who've now multiplied), and then we got married.
Good to see you here again.

"Degu Babies" sounds like a forgotten cartoon from the 80s.
