It's another long day in the Niviverse. I have a lot of things on my plate that I'm trying my best to balance. I really need to learn to type at a fast speed. My dictation software is just not working out and I have a lot of handwritten work that I need to transcribe. That's the curse of my life spent in transit. I get to write a lot while on trains. But typing on trains is much harder to get done.
Question of the Day:
How many albums of your work have you made? Are they available on the web?

I've only done one studio album with BLT and a hand full of 3 song demos. Nothing online.

qotd: I have only completed
one album of minimal semi-glitchy melody-oriented electronic music, which I released way back in 2000. I keep thinking I'm going to finish my second album "foodsexsleep" any day now. It's been sitting at about 30 minutes long for way too long (and I feel like a good album should be as close to 45 minutes as possible), and there's several songs I need to get around to recording for it but I haven't felt like I've had the energy to (mostly because I have a couple songs in a half-finished state and it doesn't feel like they're coming together and instead of just moving on to another song I get obsessed and then discouraged).

The only 'legit' album I've done so far is Bed 'n Breakfast, but due to crappy pricing on cafepress, it's only been heard by like 5 people. I might release it for free online sometime, because I hate for people to not get to hear the tunes.
Bed 'n Breakfast
I count my frenzies from last year as an album, because there's around 12 of them, and they all have a similar feel.
55 Minute Frenzies
badly mixed AAD from 2007
Crappy Album a Week from 2006
Fun but kinda crappy jam bands with my friends -
CP
Soggy Taquitos
Our Dog and MC Euphrates
PS - I've got A LOT of demos in the works right now, but I'm not sure if I should organize them into three albums of completely different styles and sounds, or three albums with an equal mix of the three styles and sounds. What a dilemma.

I know I've mentioned this to you before but dude, seriously,
Mixonic. Same on-demand stuff as Cafepress only they don't charge rape prices.

QotD: I've never officially released anything 'Hoblit' but I've put out a Ghost Town Gridlock EP and The Funeral Dazies currently have a full length album out. Unfortunately we are currently still getting the rights to The Misfits' song Skulls so we can't sell it on the web.
We can easily get the rights to Little Red Riding Hood through most regular means but its the song Skulls we can't figure out how to get.
(

It was a mix of things we were doing at the time. We did a lot of shows but not a lot of recording.
I'll upload it somewhere if you like. Where's the best free hosting for albums?

I think you made this QotD just for meeeeeee.

Okie maybe not but I love to self promote.
I currently have 2 albums out. Both are available on soundclick.
Headphones is my debut CD and features songs I did between 2002 and 2007. It was released December 20th, 2007. It is priced at $3.99
http://www.soundclick.com/store/digital ... umID=21673
Love, Hate, and Everything Between is my 2nd and most recent CD. It features songs I did between the end of 2007 and the middle of 2008. It came out July 1st, 2008 and it priced at $4.99
http://www.soundclick.com/store/digital ... umID=25269
Going by the pattern I've formed so far, I'd have a new CD coming out this month or at the very least by the new year. Unfortunetly I really don't have enough songs done to attempt a new CD that early.

This has been the longest week ever. Okay, the second-longest. The week Hurricane Katrina hit still takes top honors.
QotD: I've got a whole bunch of songs (mostly Songfight, but some not) arranged into albums, and a whole bunch of songs that aren't yet. I still haven't gotten around to making a layout for my website, but the albums are here:
Airplanes (2005-2008) -
http://jon-eric.com/Songs/Airplanes/
Bad Attractions (2003-2004) -
http://jon-eric.com/Songs/Attractions/
Uncollected: -
http://jon-eric.com/Songs/Other/
Also, two AADs:
Teenager -
http://jon-eric.com/Songs/Teenager/
Words -
http://jon-eric.com/Songs/Words/
Looking at the layout reminds me that I probably ought to rename the files with track numbers in front. They're all tagged with the appropriate track numbers, but that doesn't do any good unless you actually download all the songs to your hard drive, and who would want to do that?
