I'm posting this from work. It's my last day, I don't really care about getting caught. My boss is sitting six feet away from me, and she doesn't seem to care, either.

I have always wondered why the boards are so dead on the weekend, and have come to the conclusion that it is because most people post from work.

I am posting from home, but I work here, too.

Work. They shut down our lab this afternoon so I had to stop doing productive work and instead am cleaning out my email inbox. What fun!

I work from home these days, so that's where I am posting from. But often I'm on a train posting from the iPhone. Or wherever work happens to be.

but i'm only here for a couple more hours. and i'm stoked to get out of here today.

tomorrow, my friend chris (mr. pickles and ice cream) and i are going to have an epic day snowboarding up at lake tahoe. they've gotten like 2 feet of fresh new snow the past 48 hours, and are expecting another foot tonight. tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and cold. we're getting the alpine start to be on the hill by 9am. it is going to be EPIC!

oh, and today is my birthday!

I'm at work, which is rather boring right now since we're between projects and there's only so much ramping-up I can do for the next one, especially since most of my team is already on vacation. I did not have enough vacation time to take next Monday and Tuesday off so next Monday and Tuesday will be more of the same, I think. Maybe I should buy some Nerf guns to pass around.

Happy Birthday Jack! I love Tahoe! Nothing like a day of snowboarding and a night at the casinos. You should have told me you were going and I would have fueled up the jet and flew in. You would've had two Chris' to board with.
