QOTD: It is my theory that all vegetables are out for world domination. If you were a vegetable out for world domination, what vegetable would you be, and how would you attempt world domination?

Cabbage: I believe the process of creating sauerkraut activates the mind control enzymes in the cabbage and allows living cabbage nearby to temporarily control the minds of people who have recently eaten sauerkraut.

Drc: I'm in Santa fe waiting for a table at a restaurant.

Qotd: celery. Anything which takes more energy to eat and digest than you get out of it must be evil. And all it even has to do is get eaten exclusively.

QotD: I would be an unattractive, yet resonant, pumpkin. With my veggie minions, and the humans under our control, I would hypnotize the world with music.

QotD: A giant, mutated eggplant. Seeing as how my head is already shaped like one, might as well go the full nine.

The one in La Fonda hotel. It was excellent. I had the pulled pork sandwich.

Now I have a bloody nose which has nothing to do with the restaurant and everything to do with the damn dry air here. I used to get bloody noses a lot until I moved away.

QotD: I don't which vegetable I'd be but the most evil one is asparagus. It's been running genetic tests on us humans forever and once it figures out how to make all of us... susceptible... it will destroy or enslave humanity in one swift move.
Oh, cauliflower is pretty evil too since I find it really hard to eat while keeping a polite face.

I'd be fried parsnips because I don't care about world domination.

I highly recommend Guadalupe Cafe, Tomasita's, just off the plaza, is good for a casual lunch or brunch. My wife's favorite is El Farol, on canyon drive - but it's a bit more expensive for the dining room.
