Niv's back to the Roll Call. I've been knee deep in projects like my top 200 SF songs of 2008 and the GOM, so much so that I have definitely been slacking on visits to the Roll Call. But today with the GOM & SF200 both nearing completion, I feel I have enough attention span to start one of these.
QotD: Are you good at managing your time?

Today's my dad's 81st Birthday. Go Dad!
QotD: If by "good at managing [my] time," you mean, "can set aside wide swaths of time to do absolutely nothing, then run late for scheduled events," I'm outstanding at it.

Today I had another appointment with the dentist. Originally he was supposed to fix two teeth but the anaesthetization didn't kick in on the second, so I've got yet another appointment next week. Fun. Also I recorded the lead vocals of this fight's song with almost half of my face numb. More fun.
QotD: I'm going to go with exactly the same thing that slats said, except I very regularly don't even run late. Instead I don't deliver at all. This tendency is getting worse as time passes. With luck you'll be rid of me in a couple of months.

Let's hope not.
Yes, I feel as though I manage my time well. I was kind of late for a couple of recent fights and it made me crazy as I love to meet deadlines and be punctual. When coming to see me, you should feel compelled to be on time as well. Ahem.

Oh, yeah, actually it's different here at Song Fight. It's other stuff where my time management doesn't work. I think it's because it depends on an intrinsic feeling of reward and I just don't care about a lot of other things. So you may lose me when I stop being able to afford an internet connection and a roof above my head.

DRC: Finished my first song in over six months. Then celebrated by indulging shamelessly in Song Fight Fever, which entails spending the entire rest of the day clicking around the message board and waiting for the update.
QotD: See above.

qotd: ditto to heuristics. I never finish my musical projects and I procrastinate on all my school work. I should work on that. But no new years resolutions for me this year. They're a waste of my energy.

QOTD: I'm always late to everything. Even if I leave early, something always happens and I'm late. So I gave up trying to be punctual years ago. It's just not in the cards for me.
...on a plus note, I've become the master of excuses. You know, the whole silver lining thing.

Question of Yesterday: apparently not. But I did get a song in for the upcoming fight, so that's something.

QoY: Right now I should be getting ready to go to work and instead I'm laying out some comics and posting to a forum. What do you think?
