WEEK 4 MIX!!!
Again, this time the songs are all from Japan. Some are in English, some Japanese, and one that switches between Russian and English. Don't let the lack of recognizable words keep you from listening to the awesomeness of these songs. I don't understand most Japanese, but I still love to listen to them.

1. i wish i could sing along to this one.
2. funk awesomeness, the actual rapping is kind of weak, though.
3. marvel at the incredible voice of hyde.
4. the first song off the japanese (superior) equivalent to radiohead's ok computer: supercar's highvision.
5. a great song from one of my favorite bands ever. listen for the english ... Read Morewords peppered throughout.
6. the mix of russian and english and the lyrical imagery makes this a very sexy song.
7. someone tried real hard to sound like the amps here. i love it.
8. the happiest hip hop song i've ever heard. i dare you not to be singing this for days after hearing it.
9. until i knew what the real first few lines were, i thought this song was sexy as hell. i was disappointed when i found the real lyrics, but it's maaya sakamoto, so. the way she sings the "if you'd rather be somewhere..." line is my favorite part of the song.
10. lyrical awesomeness. originally, i couldn't stand this woman's voice, now, i love it.

It's a list of the urls in a text file, with the extension m3u. You upload it and link to it. Don't forget to press ENTER after the last line. Here's an example: download this and change the file extension to m3u.

I love Seatbelts! Ask DNA and Call Me Call Me are fantastic. I should listen to this sometime if that's the kinda stuff you have on it. But not at this time of night. Remind me later :)

huh, finally another person who listens to Japanese music. You have some good choices of bands there, though not my favorite songs by any of them. We should talk, and more people should frequent songfight IRC anyway. Come in sometime.

... also drop the Naruto font, it's embarrassing.

there's no way i'm putting up the best songs in the first week.
i just grabbed ten songs that i was obsessed with at one point or another.
i am not going to be only posting japanese music, i just needed a place to start.
so, i started with music that i don't think enough people in this country have heard.
i'll probably remove the font, when i put some different music up.

i like orange range, l'arc~en~ciel, asian kung-fu generation, supercar, the pillows, rie fu, maaya sakamoto, and a lot of others. i just got into the brilliant green through the "ash like snow" song that opened gundam 00 on sci-fi channel. i'm always looking for more cool music and usually stream kawaii radio or keichinet when i have to spend all day at my desk.

That's one of my music rules: When searching for good J-Rock, start at the anime themes.
