Hi everyone!
Can't you make it a bit flashier? It's easy to miss as it is.

Yes Jon, your flamboyancy is very apparent. You're like a proud peacock showing off your....ummm, "plumage."

so the day before the 10th anniversary of this thread, Spud needed me to look for someone in a crowd and I was all, "you know that doesn't work with me, right?"

"Why?"

"I'm faceblind."

"No you aren't!"

"Yeah, I am. I never told you this before?"

"This is the first I'm hearing of it!"

[edit] Here's a link to the tests if you want to take them too: http://www.faceblind.org/facetests/index.php
[edit2] You should take the "famous people" test before reading the rest of this thread if you want a fair assessment, since knowing some of the answers will affect your results otherwise.
I keep getting a 404 message when I click on this link. Am I URL blind or something?

New link here: https://www.testmybrain.org/tests/start

I took it last night out of curiosity because I'm terrible with faces--mildly face-blind, I think. It told me I scored higher than average, which shocked me, but i think it must be a self-selecting population taking that test.

The “famous faces” test looks similar to the one that was on faceblind.org but the original one I linked to was a bit different, it would generate random synthetic faces and ask you to mark which ones had appeared previously (which does a way better job of testing face blindness than evaluating your ability to recognize faces you’ve been saturated with).
