T-minus 48 hours to my move. Still haven't changed my address with most of my services (bank, insurance, &c).

Question of the Day: How long have you lived at your present domicile?

QotD: 4 years... but I have to leave it soon. Time to join the renters market.

QotD: Seven years this Memorial Day weekend. Probably stay here for twenty or more years unless life circumstance dictates otherwise.

QOTD - 14 years. I'm a creature of habit and I hate packing.

I'll have been in this house 4 years this coming fall. There was a time when I moved yearly, and practically lived out of boxes. Note: I said out of, not in. However, I am thinking of moving back to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts sometime this year. We'll see what happens.

9 1/2 years. It's comfy but I don't have my own studio/office, so we're one room short. During college and for 8 years after I was on a ~yearly move plan. I don't miss that.

I've had to move once or twice a year for the last half-decade. Not fun in the least. We've been in the place we're moving out of for 11 months. We wanted to stay in our current apartment for as long as possible, but the maintenance is just awful, and we share our freaking water with the neighbors, which means that most mornings, someone two apartments over flushing the toilet will make my hot water go away. (Worse yet, if the sprinklers are running, we don't get water pressure.) Plus, they were going to raise our rent by $15/month.

The new place is $50/month more expensive, but it's bigger, closer to work, and has more included in the rent, which results in net savings. And it's a condo place, so they'll give us the option of buying if we like it when (or before) our lease is up.

7 years, and I hope to never move again.

Still a lot of work to be done on the current recording space situation, but that's a function of funding and time more than available space.

Wow, you charge a $40 screening fee? Great way to cut out the BS and cover your credit check fee and time. Nice place. I've always wanted to live in an artsy fartsy place like that. Cool idea with the staircase design.

Of course I've already told you how much I love your new place.

QotD: It'll be eight years in August. I moved into my house less than a month before 9/11 happened. It doesn't look anywhere near as cool as Spud's.

QotD: I've been living here since September. I'm moving in a week to TN for two weeks and then moving into another suite in the same building at my school for two months. Then moving back to TN for a month. And then I move into my new place on September 1st. Moving a lot this summer. :(

Hadn't thought about that. Maybe it's a dishwasher or another person trying to shower. All I know is, my water pressure and the consistency of the water temperature both suck, and I can't wait till I never have to take another shower in that bathroom again. Just under two more days...

No. Technically speaking, I don't become a criminal until they actually catch me. Till then I'm a fugitive.
