Head over to frenzy.ummband.com and sign up ... IF YOU DARE!!!
They're now 125 minutes with no artwork involved. I'll try and keep them more organized now, posting the time of frenzy 48 hours notice beforehand. Tell me if you have any more suggestions, I'm pumped to see if anybody wants to try these now.

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
If it's not too much trouble, kindly make a short post in this thread once you've scheduled a Frenzy. I'm subscribing, and I'll then get the notification immediately. I suspect I'm not the only one.
Game on!

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
Oh, you can subscribe to a thread?
Would it work for me to make a locked thread on the frenzy site and update it whenever a new frenzy is scheduled? Then I wouldn't have to make a mailing list - the mailing list would kind of create itself.
EDIT: I made the thread over at the frenzy page - head on over and subscribe to the thread if you'd like to be notified when there's an update.

Have fun, but that doesn't work well for anyone on the East Coast with a job... I'd imagine.

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
What GMT works for people on the east coast? I happen to live in Alberta, and I too have a job.
How does 8 oclock GMT sound?
That's about as late as I can make it, considering that the thing is two hours long and my family needs sleep.

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
Reist, what kind of sleep schedule is your family on?
8pm GMT = 3pm Eastern = 1pm Mountain Time
7pm GMT = 2pm Eastern = 12 noon Mountain
etc.

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
On the weekend those times all work great for me. During the week, I don't get out of work until 5:30 pm Eastern time. Don't change this for me, as I can't commit to doing this anyhow... but for others on the east coast this may be a problem.

**NOTE: ALL FRENZY TIMES ARE NOW MST!!**
Does that affect your schedules positively?

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
That affects mine quite negatively, but I think I'm in the minority there. Does this mean that the Frenzy that is scheduled for tomorrow will instead go off at 6pm MDT (as I assume there's daylight savings time where you are)?
Also... I know you've already acknowledged your retardation, but... you thought you were in GMT? Were you aware of what the "G" stands for?

Now that the time has been adjusted, I'll definitely try to be in.

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
It'll be at 8 pm in Calgary. I'll post a note when there's two hours until the frenzy to try and minimize confusion. Naturally there'll still be a lot of confusion - it's the first frenzy in a while.Generic wrote:That affects mine quite negatively, but I think I'm in the minority there. The "G"? I thought it meant General. General Mountain Time.

This change makes it go from mid-afternoon my time to 10pm my time. I'm usually in bed not long after.
Like I said before, I will continue watching and will participate if/when I can.

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
Aha! 2 hours behind! (Not sure why I didn't think of that seeing I should have remembered you were in Calgary...) Anyhow that makes it much more manageable... either 8 pm or 6 pm your time would work out fine for me. I may join you guys if I can record my vocals for the current fight before it starts.

Again, don't bother tailoring your start time to my schedule... I'm trying to have something ready for this week's Song Fight! anyhow, so won't be able to record anything else this week. Maybe try varying the start times of future contests to encourage a variety of participants...

Re: Frenzies Live On!!
So what time is this frenzy gonna be at. Between the two threads on two forums and all the talk of GMT and MDT, I'm confused.
