Around this time of year I am reminded of "Romantic Cheapskate" by Smoking Grapefruits. I like that song quite a bit, and I am also a bad boyfriend.

Jesus Christ. I was going to say, unlucky much? Your card game's good though, so I guess the phrase has some meaning.

Wow. I thought I was a real sap, but I don't have any love songs. How'd that happen? Perhaps Big Mistake's "Variation on Two" counts, since it's sort of about a total freak who loves a girl but can't stop pointing out her faults anyway? Or Big Mistake's "Bad Attraction," since it's about not loving a girl, just wanting some random play. Perhaps my "Violet Wants it Her Way" or "Bullseye Girl" would count as hate songs. And my "House in my Head" is about having a crush on everyone. Apparently I'm not such a softie after all.

I wrote a song last week that I'm probably going to record today, called "Little Love Song." But that wouldn't count anyway, since it's not Songfight.

If people are listing their own songs, I can do that.
"Gift with Purchase" is my sappy romantic song, which almost nobody liked.
"spacecadet" is my song in which my character compares girls to aliens, either that or wishes to have a relationship with an alien, which nobody got because the vocals had too much effects on.
Dollar Bill & the Inkpoints' "Goodbye Monster" is about breakups.

PS that said, I think Glenn&Rachael get my "best SF love song" award for "Need Stilts."

What about the Johnny Cashpoint classic 'Can't Take Our Love Away?'

And Eight Legged Oedipus's 'Ninja Gang' is a fantastic song which is kind of a love song. I would've voted for it had I not finished listening to the fight way after voting was over.

'The One' by the Hell Yeahs, it was a sidefight, but it's totally the best love song in the world!
