That always happens between the posting of results for one fight and posting of the songs for the next fight. It can be like that anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple of hours.

This particular problem is less severe than the problem that the quick hack was solving. The proper fix to this would be a complete overhaul of how Song Fight's backend manages fight status, but that's a lot of work.

finally changed the quick hack to a different quick hack which won't have the same problem (and is a bit more parsimonious anyway)
