The Song Fight Bulletin Board

Here's the idea.

1.) Everyone who wants in announces their intention to participate. [edit: or not, I guess. If you'd rather your participation be a last-minute surprise, be my guest.]
2.) Each participant thinks up a title and submits it to me. I'll give you two weeks, so if you want in, PM me a title by St. Patrick's Day.
3.) I randomize stuff up so that each person gets someone else's title, and send those back.
4.) Each person records a song for the title they get. Let's say two weeks for that; sound good?
5.) At the end, the songs will be posted, along with the revelation of who submitted what title.
6.) Titles are then up for grabs for whoever wants extra credit. Also, there will be an opportunity to for others to step up and record songs for the "stiffees."

(For the record, I'll be participating, too. Yes, that's a little unfair. Get over it.)

I'm scared of giving a title.

One of the main things that got me into Songfight was getting titles given to me. Left to my own devices - my output is very feeble. But once someone got me started with a title - it all became easier.

Can I suggest that everyone gives 3 titles. Randomise and distribute - everyone will get titles from a few people - maybe even get one of their own back. And everyone gets 3 to choose from - like old skool SF! That way no one is stuck with just "Circle of Titties"

I can't take part until I record my GOM, but maybe I'll be done one of these days and do some other things like this. And hopefully I'd get C. Ray's title.

It should be noted that Sven deserves at least partial credit for this. Something he said (no i don't remember what) inspired the idea. Thanks, Sven! 8)

In any case, I'm pretty sure there are going to be a lot of "Circle of Titties" titles floating around. I know that's what *I'm* offering as a title. Either that or "Nickelback is My Favorite Band Ever"

I'ma go all Prisoners' Dilemma on you guys. If one person submits "Circle of Titties" as the title, then I'll give it to someone. If two or more people submit that as the title, I will respond asking everyone who submitted it to try again.

Are we supposed to be sending you titties.....errr titles? Because I have several that I'd like to hear this group sing about.

I have one I'd like to hear Ross do a folk song about called "Uranus Looks Great Tonight". The innuendos would be endless.
