Don't know if anyone noticed, but I've been gone for a while. My dad had a series of strokes over the last month and a half and the last one was just too much for him. He passed away last week Thursday. It was a tough time and we'll miss him a lot.

PS "Monkey Business" doesn't seem like the right place for this, but I didn't have better one.

Tough one, Bill. Went through it myself this time last year. Hang in there, dude.

p.s. my dad got the "monkey business" treatment as well. He would have appreciated it. I hope yours would have, too.

Sorry to hear that, Bill. Just remember that you are your father's legacy. So carry his name on and make him proud.

Hope all is well Bill.

Good at least your Dad got to meet your little bloke before moving on. My mum died 4 months after Harri was born, glad now we have a few photos of them together.

Thanks everybody.

Yes, when he was in the hospice I changed my cellphone background picture to one that has my dad holding L when he was just a little one.

Yeah man, tough. I'm sorry to hear that. I lost my brother last year and have been spending a lot more time with family since. Hope you have that same support structure. God Bless.

Unfortunately I live 7 hours drive away from my family... but we are close nonetheless.
