Saw this on a plane last night. Surprisingly good.
Matt Damon was not only convincing as a South African rugby captain - but even likable! An amazing feat indeed! And Morgan Freeman IS Nelson Mandela.
For a movie about rugby made by Americans - I only spotted one tiny insignificant flaw (no one would ever say while coaching "the key to rugby is to only pass the ball backwards" - that is just silly). The match recreations were excellent. The dude playing Lomu was awesome.
This came out while I was living in NZ - and all the Kiwis whinge that the ABs were nobled in that final. Whinging pricks. Glad this movie will kill that notion.
I give it 4 "Oi OI Ois" and a celebratory communal group shower afterwards.
