Can I Sit With You Guys? *New Guy*

Hello everyone!
Came upon this site, and thought it would be a great place to work on songwriting skills, and listen to everyone else's! I'm Duffey, born in FL, ended up in CA, and hit a few places in between. After going to college for a music degree and focusing on classical music, I started writing my own pop/rock music. I like any and all genres of music, and have a fondness for 90s and 80s. Always looking to discover new music also. I use a Boss BR900 recorder and record whatever instruments I can/have access to. I'm looking forward to this! Thanks for an awesome site, and I will do my best to be awesome too!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Been seeing from the written reviews that there are some tough critics, but hopefully there will be something for everyone, eventually...

One thing you'll learn real fast. Getting reviewed by other musicians is rough, but in the long run, helpful. As long as you don't tell everyone to fuck off and go running back to your lying friends and family, lol.
I still suck after several years here, but not nearly as bad AND I've learned tons about recording and mixing.

duffey arrived in October 2010 and has not been seen since May. I imagine it's hard to find time for songfight with as much success as she has had in the music industry.

Try setting your time zone in the board preferences.
