Jonathan Mann and his band, the Rock Cookie Bottoms (of which I am a member), will be performing at Mr. T's Bowl in the greater LA area on Friday, December 3rd.

There will be a bunch of other bands playing, too. We'll probably go on around 11pm. I don't know how much it's going to cost but I'm guessing it'll be around $5. It would be really great to see some of the LA area fighters at the show! We'll be playing a very fun set, including a Song Fight! entry or two, and probably "The iPhone 4 Antenna Song".

On the horizon, we'll also be playing at MacWorld in San Francisco the last week of January! We'll be doing the iPhone song for sure, as well as tunes about Apple founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, and annoying TechCrunch writer/pundit MG Siegler. It's going to be a very geeky show.

This is a fun venue, though it is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Have a great show!

A MacWorld party or on the Moscone show floor? Damn, if I had the money, I'd be there... Too bad you don't name-check David Pogue, Andy Inhakto, and Guy Kawasaki, heh. And Avi (can't remember his last name, doh). All insanely great Mac guys, them.

Was is Avi Tevanian? We're playing at lunch on one of the days of the show, but I'm not sure which day. I guess we'll just be on the show floor somewhere, though they asked about how many amps of electricity we need. Maybe we're playing outside off a generator? I really have no idea yet. It's 2+ months away so I think it'll be a while before we get all those details. Jonathan's also giving a class:

Good for JMann! Seen Peter Gabriel and Thomas Dolby do music-related sessions there in the (dark and far more lucrative) past.

I work right by Moscone and usually go to MacWorld at least one day so when there is more information about the MacWorld show please let everyone know.

Will do. Sadly we may have to cancel our LA gig Friday because our drummer fell down a flight of stairs. EDIT: I guess the intention is for the show to go on, in whatever form is possible. Rock!
