Drop of rain coming....

Jeez Louise!!!! WTF!?!?!

I wonder if God has been browsing the Songfight archive and come across some of my attempts at gospel songs.

First we have the worst floods in Queensland's history. Then a freaking "inland tsunami" makes Toowoomba's mains street look like a flushing toilet bowl. Now he's sending this bastard to get me:

That is one freaking big cyclone. It is due to hit Cairns in about 36 hours. Cairns (and everywhere in a radius of about 100km*) is looking like they could be in some deep shit.

*I am about 1500km from Cairns. If it is a wrathful God coming to get me - thankfully his aim is a bit off.

Maybe the G-Thing just really really likes your stuff and wants to make a fan-vid for you (using reality, of course, the chosen medium of 4 out of five deities).

But, if that's G-Thing's expression of appreciation, the dislike display must be really over the top.

The Mayan's predictions for the 2012 phenomenon have begun.

Stay dry, John.

T.C Yosi has now been upgraded to Category 5 and the eye has a diameter of about 100km. Will cross the coats tonight. The storm surge will hammer Cairns. It is a very low lying city.

The Queensland floods 2 weeks ago were the most costly natural disaster in Australia's history. That may be a short lived "record". This is looking horrendous.

I have never actually experienced a tropical cyclone first hand - though I did travel to Townesville a few years ago a few hours after one passed. Looked pretty scary. Very glad I am now tucked away safely a long way south and well inland
