Words by Johnny Cashpoint, music by Johnny Cashpoint and Heuristics Inc.
Old man wrapped in shawl, sitting in wheelchair
On the windswept front like’s he’s bolted there.
Doesn’t move at all. Wind does all the work.
Looking at the beach. Doesn’t say a word.
Well, I never said all my favourite
Lego bricks were made out of plastic...
Run-down Toys ‘r’ Us facing out to sea,
Lashed by crashing waves - needs some TLC.
Unbought toys stacked up in window display
Staring down the beach where no children play.
Well, I never said all my favourite
Lego bricks were made out of plastic...
Freight containers dumped, stacked up randomly
Multi-coloured piles left by industry.
Like lego trees built by hyperactive child;
Overlooking beach, waiting all the while
Well, I never said all my favourite
Lego bricks were made out of plastic...
Made out of plastic

Favorite Lego Bricks (Look at the Beach)
Music & Lyrics by Bootlegged Waters - Vocals by Dante Joseph
Sitting here
Looking at the beach
I think of you
Your blue eyes bright like lego bricks
I'm missing you
CHORUS
And I will build you up
Again
I know that we can still
Be friends
Remember when I used to lie awake at night
and build little robots
Out of you?
It sounds odd taken literally, but hey,
Whattaya gonna do?
Sitting here
Staring at the beach
I think of you
Your blue eyes bright like lego bricks
Your blonde hair bright like yellow bricks
I'm missing you
CHORUS
Blue eyes bright like lego bricks
Your blonde hair bright like yellow bricks
What did I do?
I tried to use lego bricks
As a metaphor
For a relationship
It didn't work
------------------------------------------------
I might even have a music video coming for this one too. Keep an eye out!

Fitzroy lyrics...er... May not be exact...
(background): I know exactly how I want it to go, but I can't get it to F*€@ing work
Lost my lego brick at the beach
Now I can not complete
My sand castle
Built of legos
Every wave
Every wave
Washed it away
Right into the f#*@ing sea
Now I don't have one single old piece
That would keep it all together
(he says something I can't understand right here) at the beach
Lost my Lego brick at the beach
now my Lego sand castle
I cant complete
And it's not what I wanted
Not what I wanted
And now I know
Lostmylegobricklostmylegobricklostmylegobricklostmylegobricklostmylegobricklostmylegobricklostmylegobrick
the last little whimpers aren't words... And that's as close as they are gonna get, unless he can figure out what he said in that one spot.

I taste your skin at night
I love and hate the ancient rule
The moon that pulls me to your sea
Will you tear it down again
As you've done so many times before
I look at the beach and I drown again
My broken body washed up on your shore
Why can't I sleep at night (It hurts me)
Want to dream of the world that I love the best
Take me away (make the world go)
Take me away
You locked me in your tower
Made of collapsing legos bricks
And I can't escape - I don't want out of it
So leave me in a pile on the floor
Quick explanation because I know the lyrics are a little ambiguous - this is a song about unrequited love - basically, if you want someone you can't have, it's good but also painful to think/dream about them. Tower of collapsing legos bricks implies that you may be just a "toy" to that person and nothing good can come of it.
