Hi folks,
Long time Song Fight! participant Jonathan Mann has started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to turn his usually one-man song-a-day operation into a big month long collaboration in June. Thomas Hughes of the Spinto Band, aka Carol Cleveland Sings of Song Fight!, will be one of the core collaborators, along with another member of the Spinto Band and a couple other amazing local musicians. Many other folks including me and the rest of the guys in Jonathan's band will be involved as well. (Maybe you can be too!) The end result will be an album to be released along with his 1000th song-a-day song in September. (1000!!) Check it out and pitch in if you're so inclined.

Also, if this could get on the song news on the home page that would be really great.

Re: Jonathan Mann Kickstarter Campaign
He did a song for them a year or two ago, so he's had some extra attention from them that's been helpful. One of their founders was one of the first backers, they put him on their blog, and then today on their home page (and apparently newsletter). He got a lot more backers today it looks like. It should be interesting. I'm going to be away for a week in June (SF! Live!) and not sure if I'll really be participating in making the record much but I'm excited to see how the whole process goes.Ha! He's in the Kickstarter newsletter.
