ALL OF THIS SONG WAS NON-INSTRUMENTS. NO SYNTHS.
Electric shaver, whiskey bottle, soda bottle, glass vase and spoon, garbage can, crushed almonds

kids say the darndest things you might hear- LIKE IRAQ HAS NUCLEAR WEAPONS
kids don't realize the impact of their actions - CARPET BOMBING ALL THOSE HOMES

kids like to play with toys that aren't theirs - LIKE SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE
kids think the world was made just for them - OH THEY'VE GOT SO MUCH TO LEARN (aren't they cute?)

sit down
be quiet
put away your crayons
and stop crying
it's not yours to lose
it's not yours to break
sit down
be quiet
eat your vegetables
and don't pick on your brother
you need a time out

kids say the darndest things you'll ever hear - LIKE THE PRESIDENT IS NOT AN AMERICAN
kids are easily influenced by strangers - GLEN B, SARAH P, HANNITY, O'REILY
kids like to scream until they get their way - NOW THAT'S WHAT WE CALL A FILIBUSTER
but then we forgive them at the end of the day

Kids- Worldly Self Assurance

The school over the road is ready to explode
Cos term is nearly done
The kids are on their feet, they pour onto the street
They're waiting for their mums

And they don't have a care, excitement's in the air
They're waving to their friends
And today is a riot, tomorrow will be quiet
Until the summer ends

They run into the sunset
I remember when I used to do that
I wish there was some way to warn of
Lessons coming just around the corner

The three o’clock the bell rings
The kids take off like springs
They’re running out the door

Excited for the future
Full of good humor
They’re ready to explore

Riding bikes all summer
Boredom is a bummer
Trying to stay cool

They’re playing hide and seek
Or dancing to the beat
Or swimming in the pool

No more pencils
No more books
No more teacher's dirty looks

Non-Instrument instruments:
- Voices
- Hands
- Filing cabinet
- Closet door
- Rubber band across Tupperware
- Bowls
- Wine glasses
- Distortion, pitch shifting and a couple other software effects
- Children
- Jiffy bag of badges with a stick for snare
- Pedro's abdomen for the kick

Kids - Paco del Stinko

Once upon a time even I was a kid
I never misbehaved, like they do today
Don't say that I did

Kids were born to serve me
or get turned into stew and gravy

Kids are spoiled rotten
they should be locked away and forgotten

Kids are the future of our nation
with no attention span or patience

Kids are dim but perplexing
wasting all their precious time texting

Kids! Who needs them, you wipe their ass then feed them
Kids! Can't please them, when they give you sass you can't beat them
It's kids!

Mow my lawn and then get off it
Don't you back-talk or I'll stop it
Do not do as I do just do as I say
Pick up your mess and then get out of my way

Kids are dirty and snotty
They don't wash their hands when they go potty

Kids are fat and lazy
and their arrogance just slays me

Kids have goofy biblical names
and they rot their minds with video games

Kids pretend to act all sweetly
they should be outlawed completely

Kids! Who needs them, you wipe their ass then feed them
Kids! Can't please them, when they give you sass you can't beat them
It's kids!

They're everywhere, I can't escape
I'm full of fear, loathing, and hate
What can I do - They never stop coming
There's no sense in running

We all start out so beautiful
Without a care in the world
Those wild haired boys
And wide eyed girls

I never realized
How impossible it would feel
Didn’t know I’d need to look back
Just to remember what’s real

I wanna dream all day
Don’t wanna feel afraid
I wanna feel loved and protected
From my own grown-up ways

And all the kids say yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah

Loud and sweet you tell the truth
Speak your mind without a care
How did I get so far
From when I used to share?

Life can be so messy
And even when I try to clean it
I still need some one to guide me
It gets harder to admit

I wanna dream all day
Don’t wanna feel afraid
I wanna feel loved and protected
From my own grown-up ways

I hear the kids say yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah

NOTE: percussion = brushes on a box, hand claps, house music bass drum noise made with my mouth with lots of effects on it

Kids
By Ross Durand
Featuring various kitchen items, storage tub and 10 ft hose with funnel

Kids on the beach, Kids in the ocean
Kids on the hill got to keep the fires goin
Kids in the forest, kids on the watch
Gotta listen to me because i got the conch

Some kids cry and some kids won't
Some kids hunt and some kids don't
But everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
You gotta keep em all afraid of the beast on the hill

Listen to me cause i got the conch

Who's got the meat, who's got the fun?
Who gets to paint their faces and go on the hunt?
Who's gonna survive and keep the pigs on the run?
Who doesn't give a care about who's got the conch

Cause everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Don't tell the kids there's no beast on the hill

Now there's planes in the sky And ships on the ocean
And the kids have got a red phone with their finger on the button
Kickin sand on shoes, drawing lines in the dirt
You better not cross it or you might get hurt

Cause everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
Everyone's afraid of the beast on the hill
You gotta keep em all afraid of the beast on the hill

Who's got the conch?
Who's got the conch?
