I will be playing this in about 10 minutes,. Supposedly it's terrible in every way imaginable.

But what else am I to do now that I finished Witcher 2?

From the reviews, I'm pretty sure I don't even want to play it ironically.

How do you play a game ironically?

More importantly, why?

With a sense of smug self-satisfaction that I didn't work on it?

So far it's OK... I don't think I'd have paid so much for it, though. It's definitely not as bad as the reviews say.

The big issue is that it doesn't play like a Duke game. It plays like a hollow tribute to its predecessor. The levels are fairly linear and there are a lot of scripted sequences. Sometimes you just want to kick ass and chew bubblegum. The levels aren't as linear as Bulletstorm's, though. It's not really as offensive as the reviews make it out to be - everything is so ridiculously over the top that it's really hard to take seriously in any way.

So it's an OK time waster. I just wish it weren't so difficult on 'easy'.

It's too hard to play ironically.

Toward the end of the game, the action finally got a little interesting. Too little too late. Most of the game was jump puzzles and a damn lot of it was spent shrunk, which was unique but annoying.

13 hours to beat.

I gave up on waiting about... 4 years ago. Here's hoping Gearbox salvages the franchise in the next year or so...
