Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Yes, and I never got time to practice. Oh well, my set still went great (even with my stage fright and empty-due-to-puking stomach).

haha, yes, I remember dude. you kind of got shafted on rehearsal time since you were last and we had to start shlepping gear to the Vault for the setup.

But it was fun, and I enjoyed playing with you in King Arthur's One Stand Knights. You did fine.

Oh man, good times. I'm enjoying pray for mojo's list of highlights:

http://songfight.net/forums/viewtopic.p ... 375#p66375
pray for mojo wrote:Item 18: Apparently, it is biocosmic energy that makes the Mystery Spot so mysterious. Either that, or a UFO crashed there millions of years ago. Or there's some gas there. Or there is a geomagnetic anomaly present. Whatever the cause, it is definitely, definitely, definitely not an optical illusion (according to our tour guide). I bought a t-shirt.
In hindsight, I wonder if the creators of "Lost" were inspired by Santa Cruz's Mystery Spot? :P

Item 7 is cracking me up:

I wanted to be there very much, but was still a total noob. My attendence since hasn't been much better, making it to only one show. However, it should be do-able to make it to MADISON next year. BLT is coming, too!

So I already answered the QOTD but the DRC is that I'm quitting the startup and going back to Sony. Startup didn't work out, but it inspired me with a whole bunch of things I want to do at Sony which is what I was missing there to begin with.

"Caravan Ray! Oi! Oi! Oi"

I do remember after the Saturday night show, after we busted the stuff out of the Vault and everyone was headed to the beach house party in multiple cars, I thought we literally lost you and I was freaking out you were wandering around east Santa Cruz lost and drunk. When I got to the party, I was glad to see you there and still drinking! (I still have no idea how you got there).

QotD: Alas, no, I was in the middle of writing a dissertation. But the "Caravan Ray! Oi! Oi! Oi!" is part of Song Fight! legend for me.

RE: Madison. Now that dissertations are a thing of my past, I will be at next year's Live! regardless of its location. Maybe if it's close to her, I could get Brooke to come out and then we could have a JHD / BatP battle of the bands. (And then Octothorpe would sneak in the back and ambush us, of course.) :-)
