Time to write and/or record a new holiday classic. Post your links here and I'll put them all together as an album.

Please either write a new song or record a cover of an old song. DO NOT POST songs you did in the past.

I don't even want to say this because no one else is, but I have 2 sets of lyrics for this. That doesn't mean anything one way or the other tho, if no one else is interested... that is all.
The lyrics are in pieces and one of the sets isn't very edifying in the least.

I have a half-formed idea for my yearly anti-christmas song, but earliest it would be done would be friday and it may not fit into the spirit of what you have in mind.

Yeah, I had intended to do something for this but can not. I hate to say "maybe next year"but how about it? Maybe start earlier. Anyway, would love to hear what you guys came up with.

Note: I was most likely going to go in a similar direction to J$ although a "Father Christmas" by the Kinks type song would've bridged the gap nicely, I think.

There is still time! This whole idea seems to be a bust right now, but I think people do this kind of thing anyway. If it doesn't work out, that is fine. If it does for you, at least post your songs here for people to hear!

I'm going to try to do a Christmas song cover once I'm done working on the other holiday songs I've already committed to working on.

Nice batch of songs, peoples. Fun, warm and well done! Sorry I couldn't add some, er, spice, to the mix, but perhaps that's my gift to the world? Next year!

what a shame i missed this post earlier. i wrote and record a Christmas song around this time in December, then got some friends together and played it at open mic. it was lots of fun.
