Spud sang that line in our rattlesnake song. But he said fist instead of hand, because his baby's arm is tougher than your baby's arm.Caravan Ray wrote:a baby's arm with an apple in its hand

Introduction was interesting and worked well, as did the rest of the song. Now to the instruments...to be short and sweet, they were great! The lyrics were very meaningful and the vocals thoroughly complemented the song! Good work!

Simple yet effective. The acoustic yet energetic feel comes across straight away. It is calming, atmospheric and fresh. The melodies are close to perfect and the structure of the song is brilliant. However, the lyrics could be improved somewhat. They seem weak and powerless, much unlike the music. If they were to match the song, it would be a great combination.

A rough song demo, and a recording of a band in the making. The drumming, acoustic guitar playing and singing are all in their babysteps. There's nothing wrong with that, but before you're able to pull a captivating performance, stand infront of the live audiences or record killer tunes, you'll have to get the playing performances up to higher standards. What i did like here was that although you're clearly quite early in your "game", you've still build a song with a full sound picture. This song sketch / demo is filled with ideas, and has potential. It's a quirky little ditty that has "cult" written all over it. But before you're able to make much use of the song, you'll need to get your act together. So to speak. My best wishes for your musical journey!

the introduction to this has a great steady drum beat to it and a wonderful guitar to match it. the energy is pretty flawless in the introduction; although, a bit of a long one. the vocals fall a bit flat, though.

You cannot sing. It is painful to listen to and really is just awful. The backing track has no tune but the vocals will never appear on a track that anyone will ever pay to hear. Just dreadful.

I will rate you 4 because your song is so encouraging and full of passion. You sing like a popular musician call kolapo de popular in Africa. Please keep it up. Well played guitar and the beat. Thanks

the beat and guitar are working well together and I think this is a pretty well delivered song on all levels, the voice is confident enough and there is feeling in the singing, also the instrumentals are blending well together

the opening idea of this track doesn't have much impact and in a bit dull really. the instrumentation is a bit low and not that upbeat really and quite depressingin sound sadly. the man's voice is also very reserved and miserable in tone and needs more dynamics in the performance to keep the listener interested.

It had a bit of edginess to the music. It sounded slightly dark and gloomy. The vocals made it sound even more depressing, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The singer was a bit pitchy around 1:20.

The guitar in the beginning of this song reminded me of a cowboy walking down a Texas road, but it also had different vibes mixed with it. It had a sense of mystery, and it sounded slightly haunting by the accidental flat notes that you used. The cello in the background was really cool and it added so much to the song. Overall, I think this was a cool song. It was definitley innovative and different than many other songs that I have heard before. The vocals got a tad bit too nasally for my taste at certain points. I can see this possibly being in a movie, ect.

Is there a way to put all the songs this week into SoundOut? If so do it and post the best or worst...or one of each per song.fluffy wrote:This is the worst review thread I've seen in a long time.
I'd write actual reviews but I'm not sure what to say about most of the songs, so here's the SoundOut reviews for my track:
There is but it's better for each artist to just put it up there themselves if that's what they want. Copyright and all that.Billy's Little Trip wrote:Is there a way to put all the songs this week into SoundOut? If so do it and post the best or worst...or one of each per song. :)
