I think I just really liked the scales. There were other things in it that were actually sort of derivative - but I thought it mixed in an interesting way and he is so young! You start thinking sometimes that you are not allowed to mix some of these sounds or utilize some of these scales.
or at least...sometimes *I* get into that mode of thought. And by the time he knows better he may be pretty frickkin amazing! I have gotten to where I ignore piano sounds a lot because most of them annoy me constantly. I pretend they are all "choices" and leave it there.

I do love the double time drums with the walking bass lines. We have a few songs I do that with. The last time was Push It. I don't think it was enjoyed by others much, lol. I don't care, I like it.
