For those insterested in orchestration, or just expanding your musical aptitude, Berklee College of Music has released a free handbook:

It's more a series of snippets from several textbooks and a bit of soft advertising for their online courses, but there's some interesting, and even very practical stuff in here.

At first, I thought it was a handbook from BSS and as I was clicking I thought, ugh, I don't want to learn how to sound like Toad The Wet Sprocket. Then I clicked your link and saw...
